To address the growing challenges of rod failures due to corrosion, SANHE has developed a proprietary line of
products designed to significantly extend sucker rod run time in highly corrosive well environments. By minimizing
costly maintenance and operational downtime, these solutions help enhance efficiency and reliability.
Additionally, SANHE offers hollow sucker rods and continuous sucker rods, tailored for customers who have
integrated these advanced technologies into their operations.

HN Corrosion-proof Sucker Rod
HN's entire body is coated with SM layer. The Nickel based layer can withstand the most corrosive
agents including SO42- ,HCO3- and Cl-. To ensure reliability, HNs shoulder is adjusted to match that on
the SM coupling. Together, they create a continuous protection layer over the entire rod string. HP has been adopted by
many of our customers and the rod of choice for extreme corrosive well environments.
Based on HN, HP has replaced the body section SM protection with a 2-mm layer of HDPE material. HDPE offers superior abrasion
resistance and is more cost-effective compared to SM. Factory-installed molded rod guides seamlessly cover the transition from
SM to HDPE, ensuring continuous protection.
HP is an attractive option for extreme corrosive wells operating at low to medium temperatures.
PCP wells impose additional challenges on the torque performance of sucker rods, particularly at the pin connections. To enhance connection
reliability, SANHE has developed the HT series products. These rods build on standard designs but feature a modified API pin with slightly
reduced stress relief to allow for additional threads and longer pins.
To improve fluid flow, the HT series utilizes a pin size that is one step smaller than the nominal body size. For example, a 1" HT rod is
equipped with a 7/8" modified pin.
The API sucker rod pin thread was originally designed for beam pump applications. However, in PCP wells, most rod failures occur at the
rod-coupling connection. SANHE's HC sucker rod incorporates a 6T/in cone-threaded pin design, significantly enhancing maximum torque
performance and ensuring a more reliable connection.
The hollow sucker rod is a unique and versatile solution designed for a range of specialized production conditions. Its continuous
hollow cavity allows for the injection of heat carriers (such as hot oil, hot water, or steam), chemicals, or heating cables to reduce
viscosity, dissolve paraffin buildup, and enhance production efficiency.
This product is also ideal for applications such as sand flushing, salt removal, small wellbore oil production, and stratified oil extraction.
With its exceptional torque performance, it is a reliable choice for progressing cavity pump (PCP) wells.
Continuous Sucker Rod
Continuous sucker rods offer a reliable alternative to traditional sucker rods by eliminating the need for couplings. This design removes the
risk of connection failures and fluid flow restrictions typically associated with couplings. SANHE provides continuous sucker rods in D and H
strength grades, along with a variety of anti-corrosion coating options to meet diverse operational needs.
